By choosing the Impact Ticket, you are not just attending a festival – you are being an active part of our efforts and projects aimed at strengthening and uniting the Caribbean through our shared ancestral origins.
Each festival ticket includes full access to all festival activities for 4 days. Our community is intergenerational and child-friendly, toda la familia es bienvenida.
No pets are allowed.
Please note: We are a substance-free festival; smoking, alcohol, and other drugs are not allowed.
VALIDITY
The tickets include participation in the full program of the 2026 Arawak Festival.
Travel is not included. Collective transportation can be arranged to and from Santo Domingo per separate request, at at an additional cost. Meals, beverages, and accommodation are included in the corresponding festival ticket of your choice.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Participation at the event is always at your own risk. We are only liable for such damages which have arisen to the user through grossly negligent or deliberate behaviour. The Arawak Festival, traditional leaders, and facilitators assume no liability for accidents.
We recommend concluding travel health insurance. Liability for damage and/or loss to and from brought objects is not accepted. A lost and found box will be at the registration desk everyday.
By purchasing a festival ticket, attendees agree to consent to being featured in any produced content from the event. Should you disagree with being featured, please send us an email to festival@maroa.org
The registration for the event is considered as approval of our conditions of participation and allows the forwarding of further information relevant to the events to the e-mail address given at the registration.
CANCELLATION / REFUND
Please make sure you are fully able to attend before securing your spot.
Due to the nature of our festival, we are not able to offer any refunds.
Nobody books a festival to cancel it, but unexpected events do occur. Exceptions or discounts cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete, or for arriving late / leaving early. You can sell/pass on your ticket, with your responsibility.
IN CASE WE MUST CANCEL
If we cannot host the festival and must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible. In this case, you have the option to receive either a 50% refund or you can get to transfer your ticket for the next festival.
However, we are not accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
TRAVEL AND HEALTH INSURANCE
Please note that travel, cancellation, and health insurance are your responsibility. Furthermore, you participate at your risk and you must employ your judgment as to which this festival is appropriate for your level of overall physical fitness as well as mental stability. The festival guest is liable for loss and all damages which arise during the festival. You hereby expressly waive any and all claims – of whatever nature – against the Arawak Festival arising from damage, injury, or consequential damage that may occur in connection with participation in the festival.
